The Sun at Some Point

These are all pictures I took with my Ipod in Montrouis, Haiti over Thanksgiving break.
These pictures are all of either the sunrise, sunset, or somewhere in between...

So, this picture is of the sunrise. The sun actually rises behind the mountain, and in this picture, it didn't rise yet. This picture is cool because a fisherman happened to pass by so it created a tropical or vacation effect.

This is the same picture as above, execpt this one is photoshopped. I added some sharpen, contrast, temperature, highlights, and some vibrancy. I think the original is better because the sky got too vibrant. :)

This picture is still of the sunrise. The sun didn't rise yet. This is like ten minutes before the sun rising. There were some clouds so it created a pretty color scheme in the sky.

This picture is of the sun actually rising. You can see the first, smallest ray of light just over the mountain. So, the sun just peeked over the mountain.

This is the sun rising. The entire sun is came out from behind the mountain.

This is a picture of the reflection of the suns glare on the ocean. It was really bright!

This is a panorama I took with my Ipod. I got the sun rising along with the land... (the land in the middle isn't an island)

This is also another panorama I took with my Ipod. You can see the sun rising along the mountain.

This picture is of all of these trees (mostly coconut and almond) and the sun peeking through in the back.

This is about the same as the one above but the sun was a little brighter because you can see the entire sun.

This picture is of my cousin. I took this picture at sunset. I made it look like she was lifting or holding the sun. It came out really well because the surroundings came out black (which is a cool effect), and there is a sailboat in the background!

This is a picture of the sun setting behind the mountains and the clouds. It created a pretty array of light and the glow of the sun outlined the clouds, which was really cool. There was the sailboat passing by too.

This was a picture I took on the plane about 10 minutes after the sun set on the way back home. It was a pretty view. Especially from the plane because the sun set in the distance, like on the horizon.
