Florida Trip

These are pictures I took on my trip to Florida. I took them all on my Ipod and all of them are slightly photoshopped, except for one. They are all pictures of plants or flowers. I personally adore a majority of these pictures. Enjoy!

This is a closeup picture of a Croton Magnificent. This plant is really cool because it has
four different colors...

This is a wildflower.

This is a closeup of a yellow hibiscus.

This is an orange hibiscus. It isn't photoshopped.

This is a Red Ti plant, which is common in Florida.

This is actually a fake flower. If you look closely at the edges of the flowers, you can see the dust. Also, if you look really closely at the flowers, you can see the fabric. In the background you can see a fake oragne Bird of  Paradise flower. Those flowers are pretty cool...

This is a picture of a bee on a flower.

This is a flower we found in an citrus orchard we visited.

This is a wildflower.

These are some wild shrubs growing.

This is actually a picture that I took on a bridge at the citrus orchard. It is really cool because you can see the reflection of everything clearly on the water. It is not photoshopped.

This is a closeup of a plants' leaf.

This is also another picture of a plant after it rained.

This is a Honey Tangerine Orange. It is not photoshopped.

Sea level

These are pictures I took at Daytona Beach, Florida. I took them on my Ipod and
only the first two are slightly photoshopped. (The only thing photoshopped was the exposure.)
I took the first two pictures on the sand, as if you were seeing the waves coming
towards you. The other ones are of the sunset and a seagull strolling by. :)

So, this is one I got with the water coming towards the camera and some seagulls in the background.

This is another one similar to the picture above.

This one is of the sunset with seagulls going by. It is not photoshopped.

This one is also of the sunset but it is more bright because the focus isn't on the sun.
You can also see the water and the suns' reflection...

This is a seagull. This picture is pretty cool because you can see the reflection
of the seagull on the water pretty well.

Water on the Deck

These are all pictures of water on our deck. There was some leftover water from the rain, so I thought, why not take some pictures of the water... And, all of these pictures are slightly photoshopped. (Only the lighting was changed, except for one picture, which was photoshopped more)

This is a picture of a fly by the water. This was a cool picture because sun shone right were the fly was.

This was a leaf I found on the water and it blends in with the deck. I think the photoshop was too much for this picture. There is a lot of vibrance, contrast, and
less clarity (which gives the glossy look on the water). It looks a bit unrealistic and cool. :)

These are the shadows of the deck railings.

This was the reflection of the kitchen door on the water.

This is my favorite picture. The water blends into the deck but you
can also see the glow on the water too. The front (bottom) of the picture is
blurry and the back (top) is clear...

This picture is just water on the deck. The outline of the water is really clear and the deck surface is very distinct too. The whole picture came out clear too. (You can see a lot of detail.)

Warm Snow

These are pictures I took last week when it was snowing. The sunset was sinking into the trees. It was really pretty because the snow was "glowing". You cant really see it because my Ipod couldn't pick up all the lighting details.

This was also about the same as the one above, except that the deck isn't in the picture.

Under Construction

These are all pictures I took over the summer when we were getting our deck built. These pictures are nothing special. I was bored that day so I started taking pictures of the deck, since we won't ever get the deck rebuilt.

This was the deck on the bottom half of the picture, with the view of the mini mountain.
(The mini mountain is behind our backyard)

This is a picture underneath our deck while it was still under
construction. :)

With the Trees

These are also some pictures I took at Montrouis, Haiti. These are all pictures I took of trees, and I took them all on my Ipod.

This picture is my favorite one. This is a branch of some kind of tree sitting by the beach. I like this picture because the tree looks very real, clear, and like a typical "beach" picture. I didn't photo shop this picture. The sun was rising in the behind me, so the lighting was pretty good on the branch.

This picture to me is a typical beach picture too. The tree all black and there is a beach/sunset background.

This picture is one of my favorites becuase the sun peeks through the leaves of the coconut tree. The tree itself is very vibrant and bright.

This picture is also one of my favorites too! I really like this picture because it has an transfer effect. The apple products lets you choose a filter or an effect. So for this picture, it has a transfer which basically adds temperature and makes it looks like an "old" picture. It also takes out some color.

This is a picture of a coconut tree :) (The trees were pretty tall)

This is just an ocean view type picture with a sail boat going through. You can see far in the distance, the clouds make it look like there is a mountain or something back there.

This is a picture of the sunrise on the trees. The sunrise was pretty bright. It also looks like there is a lot of temperature added to the picture, but that is just the warmth of the sun on the trees.

This was a coconut tree at around 2pm. The area was really bright, and the sky was clear so there were a lot of sunlight coming. This picture is actually photoshopped. Just some sharpness, contrast, and vibrance was added. :)

The Sun at Some Point

These are all pictures I took with my Ipod in Montrouis, Haiti over Thanksgiving break.
These pictures are all of either the sunrise, sunset, or somewhere in between...

So, this picture is of the sunrise. The sun actually rises behind the mountain, and in this picture, it didn't rise yet. This picture is cool because a fisherman happened to pass by so it created a tropical or vacation effect.

This is the same picture as above, execpt this one is photoshopped. I added some sharpen, contrast, temperature, highlights, and some vibrancy. I think the original is better because the sky got too vibrant. :)

This picture is still of the sunrise. The sun didn't rise yet. This is like ten minutes before the sun rising. There were some clouds so it created a pretty color scheme in the sky.

This picture is of the sun actually rising. You can see the first, smallest ray of light just over the mountain. So, the sun just peeked over the mountain.

This is the sun rising. The entire sun is came out from behind the mountain.

This is a picture of the reflection of the suns glare on the ocean. It was really bright!

This is a panorama I took with my Ipod. I got the sun rising along with the land... (the land in the middle isn't an island)

This is also another panorama I took with my Ipod. You can see the sun rising along the mountain.

This picture is of all of these trees (mostly coconut and almond) and the sun peeking through in the back.

This is about the same as the one above but the sun was a little brighter because you can see the entire sun.

This picture is of my cousin. I took this picture at sunset. I made it look like she was lifting or holding the sun. It came out really well because the surroundings came out black (which is a cool effect), and there is a sailboat in the background!

This is a picture of the sun setting behind the mountains and the clouds. It created a pretty array of light and the glow of the sun outlined the clouds, which was really cool. There was the sailboat passing by too.

This was a picture I took on the plane about 10 minutes after the sun set on the way back home. It was a pretty view. Especially from the plane because the sun set in the distance, like on the horizon.
